"I didn’t grow up with Indian food,  I found it, or maybe it found me, at a moment in life when I needed it most. What began as losing a bet became a calling. I traveled to India, cooked with aunties, food historians and chefs, sat in roadside kitchens and family homes, not as a tourist, but as a student. In every spice blend, I found a story. In every dish, a lesson about love, grief, identity, and resilience that helped me heal.
